Author Guidelines
1. General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to IMANENSA: Journal of Theology & Multidisciplinary Studies must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Manuscripts may include research papers, conceptual studies, or contextual theological reflections relevant to theology, Christian education, and multidisciplinary studies.

Authors must follow the journal’s format and editorial guidelines.
2. Language and Writing Style

Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English.
-
Writing should be academic, objective, and supported by adequate scholarly references.
-
Authors are encouraged to use citation tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
3. Manuscript Format
-
File type: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
-
Paper size: A4, spacing 1.15, margin 2.5 cm, font Times New Roman 12 pt.
-
Manuscript length: 4,000–8,000 words, including references.
4. Manuscript Structure
-
Title – concise, clear, and representative of the content (max. 15 words).
-
Author Name and Affiliation – include full name, institutional affiliation, and active email.

Abstract and Keywords
-
Written in both Indonesian and English (100–200 words).
-
Includes purpose, method, main findings, and conclusion.
-
Include 3–5 keywords.

Introduction – background, research questions, and objectives.

Literature Review / Theoretical Framework (if applicable).

Research Method – describe the approach, method, data sources, and analysis procedure.

Results and Discussion – present findings, interpretation, and theological or multidisciplinary relevance.

Conclusion – summarize key findings and implications.
-
References – follow the journal’s reference style.
5. Reference Style

The journal applies the APA 7th edition reference style.
-
All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Example:
In-text: (Panuntun, 2022) or Panuntun (2022) states that...
Reference list:
Panuntun, M. (2022). Contextual Theology in the Digital Era. Jakarta: STT Sumatera Press.
6. Tables and Figures
-
Tables and figures must be numbered, titled, and properly sourced.

Images should be in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
7. Peer Review Process

Every manuscript is subject to a double-blind peer review, ensuring anonymity between authors and reviewers.
-
The final decision for publication is made by the editorial board based on reviewers’ recommendations.
8. Copyright and License
-
Authors retain the copyright, but grant the journal the right of first publication.

All works are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
9. Publication Fee
-
No Article Processing Charge (APC). Submission and publication are free of charge.
