PERANAN DEWAN PEMIMPIN JEMAAT (DPJ) TERHADAP SPIRITUALITAS JEMAAT DI GEREJA

Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji peranan Dewan Pemimpin Jemaat (DPJ) terhadap spiritualitas jemaat di Gereja Kristen Perjanjian Baru Masa Depan Cerah (GKPB MDC) Binjai, sebuah gereja lokal yang menerapkan model kepemimpinan kolektif tanpa kehadiran pelayan full time. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis yang diperkuat kerangka teologis normatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, kuesioner, focus group discussion, dan studi dokumen terhadap 23 informan yang terdiri atas pelayan, anggota DPJ, dan perwakilan jemaat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kolektif yang dijalankan oleh pelayan paruh waktu belum mampu menopang pembinaan rohani jemaat secara optimal dan berkelanjutan; rata-rata 79% responden menilai negatif kondisi pelayanan yang sedang berjalan, sementara rata-rata 84–85% responden mendukung perekrutan pelayan full time. Temuan memperlihatkan lima area keprihatinan, yaitu beban ganda DPJ, dominasi figur, krisis pendampingan pastoral, ketegangan spiritual jemaat, dan kelumpuhan fungsi penggembalaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kepemimpinan kolektif DPJ dan pelayanan pastoral full time yang dijalankan berdasarkan prinsip servant leadership merupakan model yang paling efektif untuk menopang pertumbuhan spiritualitas jemaat secara berkelanjutan.
